Taught in a one-room schoolhouse on
the Nebraska Prairie in the 1800's. Still teaching there in 1924. Walked
her terrier, "Muffy", on the sunny side of the street in 1934.
In 1950, had three children and was president of the local garden club.
Her life in the 1960's was marked by a taste for high fashion and a large
divorce settlement, but by 1973, she was growing long flowing locks and
sewing her own granny dresses. |
