A woman with social conscience, in
1875 hid suffrage tracts in her ermine muff. In 1912 Blythe adored opera
and theatre. By the 30's, she was the darling of cafe society, an
intellectual, a painter of Cubist portraits and a writer of political
diatribes. Blythe, fluent in five languages, was employed as a
translator to the Ambassador to Gallardia in 1953. Elegantly coifed, she
made an impression on the handsome King. In 1960, they were wed to
heraldic trumpets and festive one-stringed mandolins. |
